What Forestry Mulching Is

A track-mounted machine fitted with a mulching head grinds standing vegetation down to ground level and turns it into mulch right where it stood. Nothing gets pushed into a pile. Nothing gets hauled off unless you ask for that.

How It Works

The machine drives over the brush and small trees, and the mulching head — a rotating drum lined with carbide teeth — shreds everything in its path. What is left behind is a flat, walkable layer of mulch instead of standing brush or a pile of debris. One pass can clear ground that would otherwise take a crew with chainsaws and a brush hog days to get through.
